sending letters for her collection, One is from Walter Besant, one, - addressed to 'The Lord Felix Borowski!' - from Christina Rosetti, others from [Jacob] Blumenthal, (1829-1908, pianist to Queen Victoria), and Johannes Wolff, (1869-1947, musicologist), with a note from [Gustave] Jensen, (1843-1895, his professor at Cologne), who died... a few months ago... considered one of the greatest theoretical musicians in Germany... brother of Adolf Jensen, (1837-1879, song-writer and pupil of Liszt), well known in this country, the G. Jensen is a propos of some 'pot-boilers' which I sent to him, 3 sides 8vo., 85 High Road, Kilburn, London, 31st March

Background
In 1897 Borowski settled in Chicago, where for many years he wrote the programme notes for the Symphony Orchestra, was president of the Chicago Musical College (1916-1925), and later Professor of Musicology at Northwestern University (1937-1942).
