Drummond is best known as one of the founders of the Catholic Apostolic or Irvingite Church. The letter has been published in part at least once and in full at least once, the latter printing being in volume 9 of Benjamin Disraeli Letters, 1865-1867 (Toronto: University of Toronto Press, 2013).
