saying that the Princess is "delighted to hear of the happy delivery of Madame Tomassini, the Professor's wife, and in October, she will be delighted to have the opportunity to assure Mr. Professor of her eternal gratitude for all the marks of attention he shows to the Princess. Monsieur le Baron also asks the Princess to assure him how deeply impressed he is with the intention of the arrival of dear little Victorine who God be praised is doing well. The Princess of Wales will be twice happy to see the Professor again in his house, as Cardinal Albani will then be in Pesaro, and who spends all his time in Caprile at his home to be able to have a little leave in order to finish something for our mutual friend the Doctor Rosari. (William, 1759-1833, Slave Trade Abolitionist) the one from Castlereagh is a third person letter saying that he "presents his compliments to Mr Wilberforce and in reply to his letter of the 9th Inst begs to acquaint him that he will be very happy to send out some copies of Mr Stephen's pamphlet to our Ambassador at Madrid for private circulation, but he cannot take upon himself to transmit them officially to his Excellency ...", with a note on the verso "Slave Trade 1820", 1 side 4to., Foreign Office, 11th October 1820, the one from the Archbishop says he has not "had an opportunity of laying before ye Bishops yr letter with which you honored me, & appointed reasons for establishing a neo Society for distributing Prayer Books & Homilies. The last week has been full of ecclesiastical engagements. The next, I hope will be less so ... I will take the earliest opportunity of obeying your commands ...", 1 side 4to., Lambeth Palace, 15th May 1812, Brougham writes that he has "since learnt that Mrs Park's brother is a bookseller in Edinbh & anxious to have a share in publishing, which accounts for the sort of claim recently set up by the family. Regent of these Kingdoms from the incapacity of the King Dom Pedro my brother and as Governor ... of the Military Order of Knights of Our Lord Jesus Christ", authorizing any professed knight of the Order to arm "Tomé de Sousa Coutinho as knight" and to invest him with the habit, in either of two named churches in Lisbon, having secured two others to assist as sponsors, the Charter to be completed by a declaration that the ceremony has been performed "in accordance with the constitutions of the Order" written on the same document, complete with the declaration, and notes of the original request from the Queen's secretary of 7th February 1705, and of its registration, 2 sides folio and conjugate blank, Lisbon, 15th May
