Most unusual Finely decorated menu card with a coloured Vignette of the Castle at the head,
and a message written underneath “Drumlanrig. With best wishes for Christmas and the New Year to you & John, with love from us both, from Mollie. Menu Card for visit of Queen Victoria”, the card has a decorative goldand blue border and two crowned monograms at the head and a central red heart with wings and a crown, 8” x 5”, Drumlanrig, no date together with a blank sheet of headed paper for the castle

Fine menu for dinner at Windsor Castle - "Her Majesty's Dinner"
listing the courses in French - starting with "Mulligatawny - Ala Royale" followed by the fish course of trout and Eperlan (a cousin of salmon) then the entrees which include Lamb, Veal and Beef served in various ways and finally Quail, there is also a side table with cold meats, 1 side 8vo with a coloured vignette of Windsor at the head with the Queen's monogram on either side and a blue and gold border around the whole thing, Windsor, 4th March

Exceptional Silk Programme of the State Performance at the Royal Opera House,
to "Commemorate the Sixtieth Anniversary of Her Majesty's Accession to the throne", the programme starts with 'God Save the Queen' and then has excerpts from 'Tannhauser', 'Romeo et Juliette' and 'Les Huguenots' performed by various of the eminent artists of the day including Emma EAMES(1865-1952, American Soprano), Édouard de RESZKE ( 1853-1917, Polish Bass), Dame Nellie MELBA (1861-1931, Australian Soprano) and Luigi MANCINELLI (1848-1921, Italian Conductor), decorated at the head with sepia vignettes in ovals, at the head on either side are Queen Victoria on her accession and at the Jubilee, underneath are similar smaller portraits of Edward VII and Queen Alexandra and George V and Queen Mary and between them is the young Edward VIII, there is a border design of flowers and scrolls and the whole is fringed, 14" x 10½", Covent Garden, 23rd June

EDWARD VII (1841-1910, King of Great Britain), ALFRED Duke of EDINBURGH, (1844-1900), Princess LOUISE, Duchess of ARGYLL (1848-1939) (2), the second being a gift from Prince LEOPOLD inscribed on the verso, Duke of ARGYLL (1845-1914), MARY ADELAIDE (1833-1897, Duchess of Teck) (2), Princess BEATRICE (1857-1944), (2) and another with her husband Prince HENRY of BATTENBERG (1858-1896) dated 1885, taken on their engagement, Arthur Duke of CONNAUGHT (1850-1942), Louise Margaret, Duchess of CONNAUGHT (1860-1917), ALICE, Grand Duchess of Hesse (1843-1878, mother of the Tsarina), ALBERT VICTOR (Duke of Clarence, 1864-1892), the DAUGHTERS of the Prince of WALES, (Louise, Victoria & Maud), the four Generations of the British Royal family, Queen VICTORIA with her son EDWARD VII, grandson GEORGE V and great grandson EDWARD VIII on her lap, June 1894, EDWARD VII & ALEXANDRA (of Denmark, 1844-1925, his Queen), at the State Opening of Parliament, 1902, the album ends with a postcard photo of Princess VICTORIA (of Wales, 1868-1935) with her "darling dog", Mac. There are also 16 unsigned carte de visite showing VICTORIA and ALBERT, the death of the PRINCE CONSORT, 3 Russian Imperial Ladies, and the Queen of the BELGIANS, 4 early images of the Prince of Wales, and his brothers and sisters, on the inside front endpaper is a christmas card from Princess BEATRICE, signed and inscribed to Mary Hardinge, 1894
