Early Wartime Issue of the Danish Magazine Billed-Bladet ('The Picture Paper'), where the main feature is their Silver Wedding Anniversary (splendid cover photo and pp. 18-25), with many fine photographs, including those taken on Olga's wedding day in Kiev, 17th November 1916, as a nurse with Nicholas II at a wounded soldier's bedside, the couple with their young sons, 1923, after they reached Denmark, their farm 'Knudsminde' at Ballerup south of Copenhagen, their simple silver wedding dinner, the Grand Duchess linking arms with her two sons in Danish uniform, her painting in the open, many of her paintings are on the walls in the other photos, and her devoted maid Emilie Tenzov, altogether a fascinating record of this time, other features show American film stars with their dogs, Prince Carl Johan studying at the military academy in Sweden, Paris at Night - 41 (high life in spite of the war, with a picture of Colette), American college girls and their sweaters, fashionable party games, the latest films, and the jazz scene, 32 sides 14½" x 10½", Copenhagen, 4th Year, No. 47, 25th November

Fine Archive of 8 Autograph Letters Signed 'Olga', including one with an original crayon drawing, and 1 Unsigned Autograph Note by Xenia, to Mrs Bessie SINCLAIR, containing many details of Olga's life farming at Ballerup near Copenhagen and later in Canada, including one letter which has attached a picture drawn by Olga for Mrs Sinclair when in Russia, signed in Russian and dated 1893, sent to Olga in 1939 and then returned, references to Olga's exhibition of her paintings at Walker's Galleries in London, 19th June - 1st July 1939, Xenia's note giving Olga's address in Canada, and a long letter from Olga on hearing again from Mrs Sinclair, with details of her farm there, her children and grandchildren, 6th February 1951, together 21 sides mostly tall 8vo, Ballerup near Copenhagen, Hampton Court and Campbellville, Ontario, 21st April 1939 - 6th February 1940 and 27th December 1950 - 5th May
