George has added his brother's name JOHN (1905-1919, Prince) after his own, for Lady Eva DUGDALE (1860-1940), saying "We wish you and Mr. Dugdale a happy Xmas and New Year", written on the verso of an elegant Portrait Postcard Photo by Downey of their aunt Princess VICTORIA (1868-1935, Daughter of Edward VII & Alexandra), showing her in a plain wasp-waist jacket with fine embroidered edges, high necked collar under a broad flat hat and holding her dog on her arm, 5½" x 3½", no place, no date but close to that added in another hand to the photo,

and one to his equerry, by Cyril Roberts, Secretary of the Royal Society of British Artists, requesting that the Prince may visit "the Society's ensuing exhibition" which "will open to the public on November 3rd ... and will be quite ready for Your Royal Highness's inspection on Sunday, November 2nd", and asking the equerry "to let me know in time to assemble the Council to receive him", if on a Sunday by the previous Saturday morning, the society's badge with Royal Arms at head, with the original envelope, each letter 1 side 10" x 8", Royal Society of British Artists, postmarked 11th October
