Hanbury on the verso of part of the original order that "His Majesty's Treasure as remains in your Charge, arising by Virtue of the said Act unto The most Noble Sarah Dutchess Dowager of Marlborouh, the Rt Hon Francis Earl of Godolphin, William Clayton and John Hanbury Esqrs Executors of John late Duke of Marlborough or their assigns the sum of Five Thousand pounds in repayment of the like sum by them lent upon Credit ...", dated 1729, above their signatures on the other side is "recd the full Contents of this Order" with the date, 9" x 4¼", no place, 5th August lacking small pieces from bottom right and left hand corners
